What are the differences between the 4100CJ and the 5100CJ?

The differences are that the 5100IS has a pressure gauge, variable steam dial, and a foot pedal to activate the steam. The 4100IS does not have a pressure gauge, and the steam is activated by hand with a switch on the side of the unit.

How do I empty the water out of the 5100CJ?

To empty the water, turn the boiler off and unplug it. Wait for it to cool sufficiently, then remove the pressure safety cap and tip the unit upside down to drain it.

What sort of power does my Reliable steam cleaner draw?

Your 5100CJ has a 1000W heating element that draws 8 amps.

What is ECO mode?

ECO mode is an energy-saving mode which keeps your boiler at a "ready state" of 2 bars (29 psi) of pressure, using much less electricity than holding at the max. When you are ready to use steam, flick the switch to the "ON" position to get ready in 1-2 minutes. IMPORTANT: DO NOT IRON in ECO Mode, as this is a ready state and will not produce dry steam.

Product Description 5100CJ 2.2L Jewelry Steam Cleaner with Eco Mode

The 5100CJ has an absolute capacity of 2.2L, uses our new external heating element system to optimize the amount of steam available to use, and has an operating pressure of 3.5 bar / 50 P.S.I. for maximum cleaning efficiency. The steam nozzle provides adjustment as necessary, and the activation is done by a heavy-duty foot pedal switch.

SAVE ENERGY WITH ECO MODE If you use your boiler all day long, you'll likely never need Eco-Mode. However, if you have periods during the day that you know the boiler will not be needed, the Eco-Mode lets you put the boiler into a standby state.

OUR BOILERS After extensive research and development and exhaustive testing, we're pleased to announce an all new stainless steel 2.2L boiler for the 5100 series boilers. Now up to 50% thicker!!

EXTERNAL SOLENOID VALVE WITH VARIABLE STEAM DIAL The 5100CJ is equipped with an external solenoid for complete steam control. The solenoid allows the user to manually adjust steam output for complete steam control.

4 SAFETY SYSTEMS The 5100CJ has 4 safety systems including a pressure switch, thermostat protection, safety cap with safety valve, and a low water indicator.

PRESSURE GAUGE A pressure gauge is standard on the 5000CJ. It gives you a constant, visual indicator of the internal boiler pressure.
