The Velocity 270IR iron has 8 temperature settings to accommodate various fabric types: Anti Shine (110°C), ECO (120°C), Silk (130°C), Auto (140°C), Cotton (150°C), Jeans (160°C), Linen (170°C), and Turbo (190°C). To ensure the iron is fully heated, the red light will turn from red to green. During use, the soleplate may cool off, causing the light to turn from green to red. A quick break is required to let the iron heat back up.

Why doesn't my 240IR get hot enough? The Velocity 240IR has two temperature settings: Auto Setting - a safe temperature for all fabrics, and Turbo - maximum temperature and steam.

My Velocity is brand new, why is there water in the tank? Is it used? All Reliable Velocity irons are 100% tested during production. While we do our best to remove all water from the tank, it is possible some residual water may remain inside the main unit and show in the tank. We only sell 100% new products unless otherwise advertised.
